Delicata Squash has firm, thick and fine-grained flesh.
When cooked, its flesh is sweet, rich and moist, similar to a sweet potato.
Because of its firm flesh, it is a great choice for stuffing. Or can slice into rings or cubes and use in tacos, salads, pastas or risotto. The skin is edible when cooked and does not need to be peeled.
