  • Available June to September
  • Small broccoli florets with tender, edible leaves

Baby Orange Carrots

  • Available July and August
  • The first of the carrot crop of the season
  • Deliciously sweet flavour and crisp texture

Field & Pickling Cucumbers

  • Available June through August
  • Field cucumber lightly tougher skin than a common English cucumber, but does not need to be peeled and is not overly seedy
  • These pickling cucumbers make the best pickles!

Mini Eggplant

  • Available July through September
  • A small variety of eggplant in different shapes an sizes

Fennel

  • Baby variety available Available in August, larger in September
  • Bulbs, stalk and leaves all edible
  • Licorice flavour

Garlic Scapes

  • Available July and August
  • Flower stalk of the garlic plant (hardneck varieties)
  • Mild garlic flavour and aroma
  • Can be diced up and eaten raw, like a green onion, or cooked.

Kohlrabi

  • Available in July
  • A round shaped member of the Brassica family
  • Delicate cabbage flavour  and juicy, crisp texture
  • Great grated into a raw salad, roasted, or pureed into a soup

  • Available October and November
  • Deliciously mild in flavour

  • Available July and August
  • Zucchini type squash

Sugar Snap Peas

  • A cross between snow pea and shelling peas
  • Whole pod is edible with a crispy texture and very sweet flavour
